Orangeville Art Group’s 44th Annual Fall Show & Sale – Saturday, October 5 – Sunday, October 6
Calling all art lovers! It’s time once again for the OAG annual art show and sale, a two-day event taking place at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre Banquet Hall. Featuring artwork in watercolour, oil, acrylic, pastels and a variety of other mediums, the art show and sale offers visitors the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces of art and interact with the artisans. Admission is free.
Theatre Orangeville Presents: The Numbers Game – October 17 – November 3
Theatre Orangeville is opening their 20th season with the world premier of the romantic comedy, The Numbers Game. An endearing story of first love, Actuary Phil Gibson and Bernadette Davis are an unlikely pair who plays the odds. For a truly unique experience, take part in the Triple Threat package, which includes a Credit Valley Explorer Fall Train Excursion, dinner at Mill Creek Pub and tickets to the 8 p.m. show of The Numbers Game. Downtown Orangeville Harvest Celebration – Saturday, October 26
It’s been another amazing year for the vendors of the Orangeville farmer’s market and what better way to close out the season than a harvest celebration? Located in the heart of downtown, The Market on Broadway sells fresh fruits and vegetables and locally raised meats and fish. You’ll also find fresh flowers, home baked treats and handcrafted home and gift items. Children are invited to trick-or-treat at some of the downtown businesses and can participate in the Mill Street Ghost Hunt, the Treat Hunt in Orville the Spider, visit animals at the petting zoo and have their face painted.
